Art studies in Paris. Then, creative director for a textile design studio. Serigraphy courses in Brussels. Colors have always given me life. It is with emotion that I arrange them. My emotions guide me. I like for these hues to come together so they can vibrate. I look for harmony that pleases me, yet that is accurate. I hope the viewer of my work perhaps feels the same type of satisfaction. Serigraphy allows me to juxtapose the colors with strength and clarity. The vertical placement of lines imposes on me a creative discipline. I try to achieve intensity and luminosity through this process. A line, a color, a transparency, a contrast: discipline becomes happiness. The canvas comes to life, lights up and becomes electrifying … Meditative joy … And then, the decisive moment: the adventure comes to an end.
